Well, it's the end of July already. Where did summer go?
School starts in a few weeks here in the metro area of Denver, Colorado.
Remote learning or, for some, 100% online school is a reality that not too long ago was the furthest thing from real. Life is different right now, for sure. But it also allows for flexible learning locations.
We are more than four months into this new way of living, in the (hopefully short-lived) age of Covid-19. We're generally spending more time with our immediate families, more time working from home, and more time enjoying the simpler and the slower.
We are so much more aware of our surroundings, our four walls, our neighborhood. In short, we're aware of what works about our home, and what could be better!
How have the events of 2020 changed your perspective or ideal of what makes a perfect home? I've asked this question of friends and family throughout the past few weeks, and the responses are as varied as can be! Some have started gardens, and more than a few are wishing they had the space for one. Others wish they lived closer to water or closer to hiking trails. Many wish they lived closer to family. And a handful have said that they really wish they had a pool in the backyard! And that is the inspiration for this post!
